Hummus

So hummus. What's up with that? I keep hearing about this stuff and how people love it. I used to work at a place where if you brought it in and left it on the kitchen counter with some crackers, it would be gone in half an hour tops. Why??? I bought some this weekend. Choked it down because i paid for it, but I'm not getting it. I *wanted* to love it. Chick peas. WTH??
